Georgetown Art & Wine in the Square is a charming juried art and craft festival featuring 80 artists, and offering a weekend of art and entertainment. Along with the wonderful hand-made fine art and crafts, this year brings a new attraction. The Art of Wine Pavilion, presented by Georgetown’s Downtown Square Association, features entertainment and wine tasting, with more than 12 wineries on Saturday and wine and entertainment on Sunday. Art & Wine in the Square is the kick-off event for Art Month in Georgetown, September 27 & 28th.
Georgetown's Square is hailed as the “Most Beautiful Town Square In Texas”—a truly picturesque setting for an art show. Georgetown has ample free parking and offers artists easy pull-up to booth for load-in and -out.
Georgetown, Texas is just 26 miles north up Interstate 35 from Austin, Texas, near the world headquarters of Dell Computer, and home to many who work in Austin. The Greater Austin area is a major center for high-tech industries, including Apple, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, and Google.
